Now that the sweeping E/M office visit changes are live, you need a check-in to ensure you are best operationalizing your E/M coding, documentation, and level selection.

E/M coding guru Nancy Enos, president of Enos Medical Consulting and technical advisor behind the 2021 E/M Office Visit Reference Guide, will steer you through the critical questions you should be asking yourself as you embrace the new era of guidelines and claims reporting.

With code level selection now based on medical decision-making (MDM) or time, which option is right for you? You may be asking yourself:

  • Does it depend on the severity or type of encounter?
  • Should you factor your specialty into the equation?
  • Are you able to gain extra reimbursement dollars by choosing one option over the other?

Tune into the 60-minute live webinar to gain answers to those key questions (Hint: Yes, yes, and yes), and bring your additional questions for the live Q&A.

As a technical advisor for the 2021 E/M Office Visit Reference Guide, Enos crafted 50 coding- and specialty-specific scenarios to coach practices through the new documentation guidelines and coding rules.
